In order to monitor and ensure the quality of the data that will be collected through the 2025 National Survey on Financial Literacy and Inclusion (SNLIK), on January 9, 2025, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bintan Regency held a preparatory meeting aimed at refining all technical and administrative aspects of the SNLIK 2025 implementation process. This event was attended by the SNLIK 2025 Team, which consisted of the SNLIK 2025 team and officers from all regencies/cities designated as survey organizers in the Riau Islands Province, who are responsible for ensuring that the survey is conducted smoothly, effectively, and in accordance with the established standards.
The preparatory meeting was officially opened by the Head of General Affairs Subdivision of BPS Bintan Regency, Mr. Awiskarni, SE., M.M., who, in his opening speech, provided guidance on the importance of good cooperation among all parties involved in the implementation process of the survey. Following the opening, the meeting continued with a review session of the SNLIK 2025 instruments, led by the SNLIK team of Riau Islands Province via an online platform, to ensure that the instruments to be used in data collection had been adapted to the survey's objectives and the determined methodology. Furthermore, the meeting also included an in-depth presentation on field management, which covered the strategies for field implementation, task distribution, coordination among survey officers, and the importance of administrative completeness that must be met by each organizer to support the smooth and successful execution of SNLIK 2025 in each regency/city of Riau Islands Province. It is expected that through this preparatory meeting, all parties involved will gain a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities, and will be able to perform their duties to the best of their ability, in order to achieve the survey's goal of producing accurate, reliable, and useful data for policy-making related to financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia.
