Updating the Census Block of the February 2025 Sakernas BPS in Bintan Regency

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), organized by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), is a survey specifically designed to collect data on employment. Sakernas 2025 will be conducted in February, May, August, and November. The February 2025 Sakernas aims to estimate data on the employed population, the number of unemployed individuals, and other labor force indicators, along with their developments, at both national and provincial levels.

The implementation of the February 2025 Sakernas has entered the phase of updating selected Census Blocks in the Bintan District, starting on February 24, 2025, and scheduled to conclude on March 7, 2025. This activity will be carried out by BPS partners who have undergone training related to the February 2025 Sakernas. The update phase aims to identify households within the selected Census Blocks and then convert these households into households for statistical purposes.

Data obtained from the February Sakernas will be processed to generate labor force indicators at the provincial level. By conducting the February 2025 Sakernas data collection in accordance with established procedures, it is expected to produce high-quality labor force data.
