The Bintan Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) organized a coordination activity aimed at optimizing the preparation of the Bintan Regency in Figures (DDA) publication for 2025 and providing assistance related to the completion of the Statistical Recommendation Website (ROMANTIK). The event, held from February 12-14, 2025, and continued on February 17-18, 2025, involved various Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) that play a vital role as data producers in the preparation and finalization of data to be published in the Bintan Regency in Figures 2025.
The OPDs attending on the first day included the Bintan Regency Labor Office, Bintan Regency Health Office, Bintan Regency Community and Village Empowerment Office, Bintan Regency Social Service, and the Bintan Regency Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning Office. On the second day, the event was attended by the Bintan Regency Environmental Office, Bintan Regency Population and Civil Registration Office, and the Bintan Regency Ministry of Religious Affairs. The OPDs participating on the third day were the Bintan Regency Public Works, Spatial Planning, and Land Office, the Bintan Regency Food Security and Agriculture Office, and the Bintan Regency National Defense Agency Regional Office. On the fourth day, attendees included the Bintan Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office, Bintan Regency Culture and Tourism Office, Bintan Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency, and the Bintan Regency Financial and Asset Agency. On the fifth day, the OPDs present were the Bintan Regency Regional Secretary, Bintan Regency Education Office, Bintan Regency Police, and the Bintan Regency Communication and Information Office.
This event aimed to strengthen coordination among related institutions and ensure that the data presented in the publication is of high quality and aligned with the needs of regional development planning. Through this coordination, it is expected that each OPD will contribute maximally in providing valid and relevant statistical data while enhancing the understanding of the importance of managing and utilizing statistical data in each sector.
In addition, the sectoral statistical development conducted also aims to create a more efficient and effective system for the collection, processing, and presentation of data in each sector. With better synergy among the OPDs, it is hoped that the final result of the publication can serve as a credible reference in policy-making and regional development planning.
Through this coordination, it is expected that the Bintan Regency in Figures 2025 will provide a more accurate representation of various sectors in Bintan Regency and contribute to more informed and strategic decision-making for the region's progress.
