This activity was part of a proactive initiative by BPS Bintan to enhance cross-sectoral collaboration, particularly in supporting the provision of accurate, relevant, and sustainable statistical data. High-quality data serves as a fundamental pillar for local governments in formulating targeted, efficient, and sustainable development policies. Therefore, the active involvement of the industrial sector in the data collection process is essential, given that industrial companies are primary producers of data, particularly in the areas of economics, labor, and business productivity.
The visits to PT. BIIE and PT. Pepperl & Fuchs represented a personal-institutional approach adopted by BPS Bintan, aimed at fostering closer communication, building mutual trust, and promoting a shared understanding of the strategic role of statistics in both national and regional development. Both companies warmly welcomed the presence of BPS and expressed their continued commitment to supporting the implementation of statistical activities in the future.
Through this strong synergy between BPS and the industrial sector, it is hoped that a robust and trustworthy regional statistical ecosystem will be established—one that not only ensures the provision of high-quality data but also serves as a solid foundation for driving inclusive, adaptive, and competitive development in Bintan Regency amid the continuously evolving global landscape.
