Signing of MoU and PKS Between STAIN SAR, BPS Riau Islands Province, and BPS Bintan Regency

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement (PKS) regarding the Statistical Corner were signed between STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman Kepulauan Riau, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Riau Islands Province, and BPS of Bintan Regency at the Faculty Meeting Room, Integrated Lecture Building of STAIN Kepri.

The event was attended by the Chairman of STAIN Kepri, Dr. Muhammad Faisal, M.Ag., along with the leadership and structural officials of STAIN Kepri, the Head of BPS Riau Islands Province, Dr. Margaretha Ari Anggorowati, S.Kom., M.T., and the Head of BPS Bintan Regency, Nur Ihklas SST., M.Ec.Dev., who was accompanied by representatives from BPS Bintan Regency.

This collaboration aims to strengthen the synergy between STAIN Kepri and BPS Kepri in improving the quality of education and research based on statistical data. The MoU includes the utilization of statistical data for academic studies, human resource competency development, and the optimization of shared facilities, such as laboratories, libraries, and seminar rooms. In addition, both parties also agreed to organize scientific activities, such as workshops, seminars, and training sessions, to enhance statistical literacy among students and faculty members of STAIN Kepri.

Through this cooperation, it is expected that STAIN Kepri and BPS Kepri will continue to contribute to producing outstanding, competitive graduates who possess a strong understanding of the importance of data in analysis and policy-making, while also reinforcing their commitment to enhancing the quality of education in the Riau Islands.
