Head of BPS Bintan Regency Presents Macro Statistical Indicators of Bintan Regency

During the event, the Head of BPS Bintan Regency was accompanied by a team comprising both technical and non-technical personnel, including the Distribution Team, the Finance, Technology, Information, and Tourism (KTIP) Team, the Balance Sheet Team, representatives from the Public Relations and Dissemination Team, as well as the Data Processing Team of BPS Bintan Regency. The event aimed to present the most recent statistical findings as a form of transparency and data support for regional development planning and evaluation.

The main focus of this dissemination included three strategic topics: an overview of the economic conditions in Bintan Regency throughout 2024; developments in the maritime transport sector in February 2025; and dynamics within the tourism sector during the same month. The data and analyses presented reflected various macroeconomic and sectoral indicators, which can serve as key references for policy-making, particularly in strengthening the role of the region's leading sectors.

This activity represents a significant step in enhancing transparency in local economic management and fostering stronger synergy with the Bintan Regency Government. Through the joint dissemination of macroeconomic indicators, it is hoped that inter-agency collaboration will continue to improve, supporting the realization of data-driven development planning.
