Abstract

The publication "Bintan Regency Human Development Index 2022" is an annual publication published by BPS Bintan Regency. The Human Development Index as a measure of overall development performance is formed using a three basic dimensional approach, namely long and healthy life, knowledge and a decent living. The Human Development Index (HDI) is used as a basis for evaluating the success of implementing human resource development, especially those related to health, education and economic conditions as seen from the purchasing power of the population.This publication contains an explanation of several aspects related to HDI and the results of the HDI calculation for Bintan Regency and its components, as well as a comparison with other districts/cities in the Riau Islands Province.In preparing this publication, we would like to thank all parties who have participated.
