2024 KSA and Ubinan Surveyors Briefing

On Thursday, December 12, 2024, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Bintan Regency held a briefing session for all surveyors involved in the KSA and Ubinan surveys, which are routine activities conducted by BPS Bintan Regency. The briefing began with a presentation delivered by the Agricultural Team of BPS Bintan Regency, aimed at refreshing and reinforcing the understanding of the concepts and definitions related to the KSA and Ubinan surveys, as well as enhancing the field staff's comprehension of the procedures, techniques, and the importance of gathering accurate and valid data. Through this briefing, it is expected that the field staff will gain a deeper understanding of the objectives of these surveys, which include measuring planting areas and assessing the productivity levels of rice and secondary crops in Bintan Regency. 

The KSA and Ubinan surveys are routinely conducted by BPS Bintan Regency to gather crucial data for monitoring and evaluating the agricultural sector, which will then be used as a basis for agricultural development planning and related policies at the local level. By conducting this briefing, it is hoped that all field staff will be able to perform their tasks more effectively and efficiently, producing more accurate, relevant, and accountable data.
