The meeting was attended by representatives from various related institutions, including technical regional apparatuses that play a strategic role in environmental conservation within Bintan Regency. The active participation of the Head of BPS Bintan Regency in this activity reflects the agency’s commitment to providing accurate and accountable sectoral statistical data and information, which serves as a foundation for evidence-based policymaking to support decision-making processes in local environmental management. The presence of multiple stakeholders further underscores the importance of multisectoral collaboration in formulating cross-cutting and complex environmental issues that require integrated approaches.
The forum facilitated open discussions to explore and identify key environmental issues currently emerging in Bintan Regency. It is expected to serve as a strategic platform for enhancing cross-sector coordination in the collection, processing, and utilization of environmental data and information. These insights will subsequently be incorporated into the DIKPLHD, which not only reflects performance achievements but also functions as an evaluative instrument for assessing the implementation of local environmental policies. Through the active involvement of all stakeholders—including BPS as the official provider of statistical data—the development of the 2025 DIKPLHD is expected to proceed in a more comprehensive, transparent, and results-oriented manner, ultimately contributing to the improvement of environmental quality and the sustainable well-being of the Bintan Regency community.
