When compared with November 2017, foreign tourists visiting November 2018 also increased, which amounted to 27.55 percent.
Foreign tourists visiting Riau Islands Province in January-November 2018 were dominated by Singaporean tourists with a percentage of 48.44 percent of the total number of foreign tourists in January-November 2018.
Cumulatively, from January to November 2018 the number of foreign tourists visiting the Riau Islands Province reached 2,316,143 visits, up 23.63 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting the same period the previous year which amounted to 1,873,511 visits.
The room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in Riau Islands Province in November 2018 reached an average of 58.30 percent, up 0.71 points compared to the October 2018 TPK of 57.59 percent.
