Regional Instructor Training for Sakernas BPS Kabupaten Bintan

From Monday to Friday, January 6-10, 2025, the Center for Education and Training (Pusdiklat) in collaboration with the Directorate of Population and Employment Statistics organized the Regional Instructor (Inda) Training for the National Workforce Survey (Sakernas) scheduled for February 2025. This training was attended by participants from various regions, including two representatives from BPS Bintan Regency: Zulfikri, A.Md.Stat., serving as the Lead Instructor (Inda Utama), and M. Rizki, S.Tr.Stat., acting as the Processing Instructor (Inda Pengolahan).

Nationally, a total of 1,259 participants attended the training, divided into 37 classes, consisting of 1,057 prospective Instructors (Calon Inda) and 202 Sit-in participants. The BPS of Riau Islands Province joined BPS of DKI Jakarta Province in the same class, Class L, for this training session.

The aim of this training is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and definitions, methodologies, and procedures involved in conducting the February 2025 National Workforce Survey (Sakernas). It is expected that the Sakernas Instructors at the district and city levels will gain a thorough understanding of the survey process, ensuring that the data collected is relevant, representative, and reliable to support planning, decision-making, and policy evaluation for both the government and the public.

Through this initiative, it is hoped that the quality of data collected in the workforce survey will improve, and that the capacity of field staff will be strengthened to produce accurate and trusted statistics to support the success of economic and social development across Indonesia.
