Development of Maritime Transportation in Bintan Regency, February 2025

The number of domestic maritime transport passengers departed in February 2025 was recorded at 19,370 people, a decrease of 14.04 percent compared to January 2025, which reached 22,535 people. Meanwhile, the number of international maritime transport passengers departed in February 2025 was 17,340 people, down 6.89 percent compared to January 2024.

In February 2025, the cargo unloading volume for domestic maritime transport dropped by 38.80 percent from 7,479 tons in January 2025 to 4,577 tons in February 2025. On the other hand, cargo unloading for international maritime transport reached 2,081 tons.
